In the context of his candidacy for the position of Performing Arts at the Athens School of Fine Arts, Fil Ieropoulos presented the hybrid project Queer Performance Lab, which served as a space for the development of ideas and interaction between artists and audience, being constantly open to becoming a happening of any sort. Alongside the installation of archival video and image documentation of artworks performed, directed and/or curated by Fil in the last ten years, each day there was a durational performance element put together by an Athens-based queer performer, commissioned to use the space as they see fit.
